Project Overview
This project brought together three instructor-led learning sessions designed to support the transition from technical or academic preparation into workplace and interview readiness.
The learning journey begins with organisational awareness, employability skills, and critical thinking. It then moves toward professional communication, common HR interview questions, mock-interview preparation, structured responses, reflection, and confidence-building.
Instructional Challenge and Design Response
| Instructional challenge | Design response |
|---|---|
| Learners needed more than general communication theory. | Content was connected to workplace expectations, interviews, and realistic professional situations. |
| Employability topics covered several interconnected capabilities. | The journey was organised from workplace awareness and foundational skills toward applied communication and interview practice. |
| Learners needed confidence as well as knowledge. | Facilitator-led explanation was combined with reflection, discussion, mock practice, and feedback. |
| Creative and digital-role aspirants needed relevant examples. | Critical thinking, communication, decision-making, and career preparation were contextualised for creative and digital work. |
| Interview answers could become vague or unstructured. | The programme introduced preparation strategies, professional examples, common questions, and structured response techniques. |
