Project Overview
This project developed a proposed training and enablement strategy for the global adoption of an enterprise operations platform.
The challenge involved multiple user groups, varied workflows, and a two-month launch window. The solution therefore moved beyond a single course and established a connected system for audience discovery, delivery planning, content development, assessment, rollout execution, and performance measurement.
Instructional Challenge and Design Response
The strategy needed to preserve consistency across a global rollout while remaining relevant to different roles, workflows, and performance needs.
| Instructional Challenge | Design Response |
|---|---|
| Multiple roles used the platform differently | Segmented audiences by responsibilities, workflows, platform exposure, and performance needs. |
| One delivery method could not suit every task | Combined self-paced learning, VILT, sandbox practice, simulations, and performance support. |
| Global scale risked generic training | Mapped learning to role-specific use cases and operational tasks. |
| Tight timelines required reuse | Designed modular content that could be adapted across roles and rollout phases. |
| Completion data alone could not show adoption | Created a measurement model spanning usage, task speed, errors, confidence, and support demand. |
| Strategy needed to become executable | Built an Excel matrix containing trackers, mappings, assessment plans, and rollout tools. |
Rollout Architecture
The proposed model connects audience discovery, learning design, content development, assessment, delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement.

Discover
Identify audiences, responsibilities, workflows, existing skills, and adoption barriers.
Design
Match learning formats and support treatments to task complexity, frequency, and audience scale.
Build
Develop or adapt modular content, simulations, job aids, walkthroughs, and role-based learning paths.
Assess
Measure knowledge and task application through questions, scenarios, sandbox activities, and performance tasks.
Deliver
Sequence communications, facilitator readiness, learner access, support, and rollout activities.
Measure
Track illustrative adoption indicators such as usage, task speed, errors, confidence, and support demand.
Improve
Use learner, manager, support, and platform feedback to refine content and future rollout decisions.
Deliverables
Strategic Enablement Plan
Rollout context, strategic response, delivery model, assessment approach, measurement framework, and proposed operating model.

Value Delivered
- Aligned learning to role-specific platform workflows and responsibilities.
- Matched delivery methods to task complexity, audience needs, and rollout scale.
- Connected content, assessment, support, and measurement within one enablement system.
- Created reusable planning tools for audience analysis, delivery, and execution.
- Established a structured feedback loop for continuous improvement.
Evidence Note
Project status: This was a proposed strategic solution. KPI values in the execution matrix are illustrative measurement examples and are not presented as achieved rollout results.
Reflection
Global training becomes more effective when it is designed as an operating system rather than a collection of courses.
