Project Overview

Designing an immersive practice storyboard to help learners apply entrepreneurial decision-making while working through key components of the generative AI value chain.

The storyboard supports applied learning by placing learners in a realistic role and guiding them through structured decisions involving training data, model architecture, and computational resources.

Designing the Immersive Practice

The immersive practice is structured as a multi-step scenario where learners assume the role of a data scientist developing a generative AI model.

The storyboard defines screen-by-screen flow, decision points, feedback logic, and scoring rules to ensure consistent implementation during development and delivery.

Client Context

The client needs an immersive practice activity within an entrepreneurship course to help learners demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset when making technical and strategic decisions.

Learners must evaluate options that involve trade-offs, ethical considerations, and long-term consequences rather than selecting universally “correct” answers.

Design Approach​

The storyboard follows a step-wise decision progression, moving through training data, algorithmic form, and computational power.

Each step presents multiple decision layers with differentiated feedback and scores, reinforcing that outcomes depend on context, constraints, and priorities. Feedback language is designed to encourage reflection rather than reward correctness alone.
